Group Accountant (m/f/d) part time

How can you enrich our team ...

You are coming with a mindset thriving in an international environment and open to new challenges which integration into the structures of our new owner in the USA will bring.
With your several years of previous industry or audit experience in German GAAP, your knowledge or experience in US GAAP is a plus.
You are bringing high IT literacy, especially Microsoft Excel and ability to make best use of the given data infrastructure to improve current processes.
Your experience in usage of accounting systems will help you adapt to our system; previous exposure to Microsoft Dynamics AX is a plus.
Feeling comfortable speaking daily in English.
Ability to work on hybrid work model in our headquarter in Ulm, Germany

Your transformation challenge ...

You will become part of our global accounting team taking care of bookkeeping in Germany as well as in various countries in Europe and bringing all the data together.
First point-of-entry for all local accountants on any accounting related matter.
Review of the subsidiaries’ monthly closings to ensure that they are complete and aligned with the given accounting and reporting standards.
Implementation of any new accounting procedures across the subsidiary network together with the local accountants.
Participation in further improving the current and implementing new finance systems.
Further development of the given processes especially with regard to IT tools and the opportunities given by the BI / data landscape.
