Business Development Manager (f/m/d)

You are ready if you have...

  • 5+ years of experience with sales;
  • a good understanding of Logistics Technology (SaaS) / Supply Chain Transportation 
  • experience in the acquisition and management of new customers;
  • the ability to work both, independently and as part of an international team;
  • strong negotiation skills and proven objections’ handling capability;
  • growth mindset, high self-motivation, and drive to perform well in business development.

You will be responsible for…

  • Acquiring new customers, market research, and development of existing clients for North America;
  • cold calling, meeting arrangements, and presentations;
  • achieving the sales quota with new customers;
  • driving the sales cycle, focusing on value proposition, closing deals and supporting the customer further;
  • consulting large industrial customers during the execution of transportation RFPs
  • participating in industry conferences, seminars, and other related events for the best business outcome;
  • establishing C-Level contacts and developing new sales opportunities;
  • using modern sales tactics and an analytical approach when approaching new customers;
  • solutions with a clear business case
  • involving supporting resources (i.e. Presales, Executives, and other functions) at the right time to ensure successful sales;
  • using a CRM-System to ensure accurate Pipeline Development and Forecasting.
