Account Manager (m/f/d) - Chemical / Steel

You will be responsible for…

 

Managing and growing the existing business relationships, securing the existing revenue, and making it grow with cross-selling and upselling activities with a clearly defined set of existing customers mainly based in the DACH area but also in Europe. You will be…

 

  • Responsible for a defined customers portfolio within the Chemical and Steel industries
  • Taking inquiries and requests from customers and addressing their needs
  • Engaged with different stakeholders on a daily basis (e.g., Logistics, IT, procurement, senior management)
  • In charge of the identification of cross-selling, upselling, and renewal opportunities
  • Generate progress reports keeping each opportunity up to date in the CRM system

You are ready if you have….

  • Strong and solid logistics background
  • 3+ years of experience in Global account management, selling logistics and/ or SaaS solutions to large corporations
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher educational level
  • Good knowledge of the Chemical and Steel industries would be highly appreciated but not mandatory
  • Proven successful track record and receiving positive customers’ feedback
  • A farmer but also a hunter mentality to execute a suitable and feasible plan to grow revenue with key accounts in your territories
  • The ability to work conceptually and connect quickly with new people and build trust and rapport easily
  • Fluency in English and in German (MANDATORY)
